George was a joiner, he explained to me at length about pallet wood, the bottom line being it's no good for long term making stuff! ???
Plus the fact that several pallets a day arrive outside the gate from two local bushinesses.

Any more news on George and his shed?

It was reported at Sunday's committee meeting that we had a break in and the only thing missing was George's recently acquired 1950s wind up clock! ???
By now it will have been converted into something in a small paper wrap.

I just want to say that I've sat and read every page of this thread and have to say that George is an absolute legend!   :D

Keep it up George, you're an inspiration!  :)

I look forward to reading about many more projects!

Good Mr Fallowfield,

Does George have any idea he's become such an internet inspiration?

If not, what would he think of it?

Cheers!

Pim.

He isn't computer literate but he likes to hear about his fans! 8)
Today he poked a hole through one of his van rear lights storing scaffolding boards (I didn't know he had so many) As I left he'd glued a bit of reflector over the hole and wedged it with a piece of 4 by 2! I told him it wouldn't pass an MOT and the lens would cost an arm and a leg! :(

Ah, but that's how you've captured our imagination, Mr F, and why we all love George - he just carries on regardless... :)
