Have just discovered Georges shed, and think its amazing.
He remind me so much of my Grandad, who had a similar affinity with building things- but also had 15 acres to cover, managed to cover about 2 and had a small holding on the rest!

Every site needs an inventor to push the boundaries!

Please keep us updated!
Very often quite lost- would be more lost if I could work out where I was!- But always find my way home.....

At least in the pic, everything is in one pile, so I guess that can be considered 'tidying up'  :D Not sure if I'd be brave enough to accept anything he cooks, though .

Disaster has struck! After making such an effort to tidy his plot for inspection day, George has to go into hospital soon for an operation on two hernias!
Could be off weeks!

He's had his op, and was out next day! Two days later he managed to get down to the commitee meeting. Not being allowed to drive at the moment, he's getting lifts and using his bus pass! ;)
The annual abseil down our church steeple comes up soon, and George is hoping to have another go at it! I'll be there, camera in hand! So not much action in the shed department at the moment.

There's an ugly rumour of marital strife on the grape vine; Mrs. George does not share his love of allotments, or his adherence to frugality!
Incidentally, his picture appears in NSALG's latest magazine, he's wearing a milkmans coat! :tongue2:

I only joined the forum today and have just read through this thread from beginning to end, with tears of laughter rolling down my cheeks.

Cheers, A Fallowfield, for cheering me up so much, and God bless George - total respect  :D

Hankering now for a full Grand Designs-style reveal of the shed interior.... I just want more!!

Forgot to say... Given everything that's going on around the country at the moment, it's delicious to read about wonderful people living their own wonderful lives.

In this modern busy, interactive, full on world of ours  I think we all need a chance to do our own thing in our own way providing it doesn't impinge on others.

George is quite inspirational.  :)
