DOES ANYONE KNOW IF A SWEET POTATO PLANT WOULD GROW ON A ROTTED MUCK HEAP ? I ALREADY GROW MY BUTTERNUT SQUASH AND MARROW UP THERE IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE THAT WOULD LOVE IT UP  THERE?       ps sorry did'nt mean to shout  :(

Probably it would, as they like rich soil. There is another tread about growong swwet potatoes on GRow Your Own which has quite a lot of information in it ( I learned a lot from it  :D :D ) that might also help.

PS Hope you don't mind me mentioning but if you post in capitals everyone will think you are shouting, Hooee  :)

I don't know but would you please stop using capital letters?
