caring for our girls

Hi ,
having "lost" our first girl ( see sick chook) last evening , I wonder if there is any "body" who do a course in caring for chickens/poultry ?
I feel a need to gain more general knowledge to assuage my guilt !
Any ideas ?

I do not know where you are in the UK if you are in the UK but
Omlet do some Advanced Courses. The beginners are for people with out chucks.

Sorry they are all beginner courses up north.
Infact that is the only Advanced course in the UK.

Business opportunity anyone?

Hi my daughter just in the process of apply to collage, when i had a look at what course they offer, there are course's for learning about chicken's called hen school.Thats at otley in ipswich essex.

Firstly I think you will find out that Otley is is Suffolk. ooooooh you would get allot of people cross saying that

Secondly I went to Otley for a year back in 1992. I did enjoy it.

Hi again , thanks for the Otley ( in suffolk ) info, strangely enough I have a friend at Woodbridge too.
should have said before, we are near Newark in Nottinghamshire, so I guess not too much difference in distance between there and Banbury from here.

mmm yes otley may well be in suffolk/ ipswich boarder ,as i said my daughter was appling and we havn't looked round yet, i just know its that way !!
