My Mooli Radish, sown on 19-Jul-2009, have formed quite a lot of root above ground - two inches, or more.  Is this normal?  I assume they have also formed root under ground!

(I meant to grab a photo today, but forgot; sorry)

Yep it's normal - mine were huge last year. About 6 inches out of the ground and 18 inches below.

Thanks. Makes it easier to see how big they have become, rather than having to dig around their shoulders like carrots or parsnips I suppose
