i have found some small pink grub things in the chicken house . ihave only had the chickens for three weeks and i have found three or four of these maggot things usually under the perchs where they lay at the ends. anybody have a clue what they are. regards taximan

I`m suprised the chooks haven`t scoffed them .If you can , get us a photo of the next one and we can all go eewwwwwww  together.

i did,nt think eeewww. just like a grub. where the perchs sit at the end found one yesterday , lifted it uptoday lo and behold another one.where they come from dont know.

can only think maggots but not my bag, sorry 

After 3 weeks there shouldn't be enough detritus built up to get a maggot infestation. I'll be keen to hear opinions though.

im a fisherman and was not a maggot. they curl up when u pick them up ,and come to think it did crawl on my hand.if my memory was right.intrigued to find the next one now,
