preppearing raised beds over winter

Hi there i have 4.... 3 ft by 3ft deep by 3 meter long beds, all with different soils in. should i do antyhinig to the beds over winter as i have planned 1 for chillis only, 1 for carrots,1 for onions and one for salad.

Anything i should do or just keep weeded?

Did you mean to create a poll?  The two options make no sense whatsoever!
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...
