I was walking past and popped my head in for a quick brew ;) not bad matey things are doing grand, hows things in middle earth ?

yeah I'm fine, it's good in the midlands. I've just had a taster session at archery, think I could be hooked. it was great fun, but I just know I'll get told off for humming Robin hood lol

Archery is brilliant! Once took a group of childr to an outdoor centre and the group included a lad with sight difficulties but they were happy for him to take part  providing I was helping him aim  - An interesting day - a great sport.  ;)

Yeah we had a great time, I think we 3 are going to take it up, next are the lessons £50 for adults and £25 for kids. But their happy to supply and hire you bows until your competent to shoot and worth spending the money on your own bow.

There's always the hard shoulder - hardly ever used like pavements these days - no one walks... do they?

My Pa got one shortly before he died. He never learnt to drive a car, and it that was apparent by the damage he caused his scooter in the short time he was using it!

I kinda felt sorry for the pedestrians...... :nowink:

My dad has one.... not used a lot recently so I get sent out around the block on it to make sure it is in running order & charged  :tongue2:

I wouldn't mind but his is the pavement only version - top speed "limping" (4mph)... if only I could persuade him to trade up

Compared to some of the things you have to do for them, a peaceful ride round the block must be heaven!
