Thanks DD. Just as soon as we get some power in the kitchen....( and an oven) I'm going to do precisely as you say and keep my fingers crossed.  ;)

It feels as if the old shed is warming up nicely in this morning's sun.  :)

Haven't got an airing cupboard.  Can I put the dough in the propagator instead?

I can bring runner bean chutney to go with Aunty's gammon  :)
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

Use the propagator by all means, but take the dough out before it gets leggy.
