does anyone know of any ways to train chickens not to poo outside the backdoor or of anything to act as a deterrant?

I get a crick in my neck walking round the garden picking up the poo.  So it had crossed my mind but my family thought it was another mad idea of mine.  So good luck!

Get a miniature schnauzer.... they will hoover it up before it hits the ground

well my chickens are house trained...that is they only come in the house to poo :blink:
at least thats how it seems to us
