they got to be about 4 months old roughly i seruiosly cant remember  i know that isnt much help .

i have just had a long weekend and i was around at the time they would of crowed and i nevr heard anything and so far there as been no complaints as they would be if one was a cockerel , its just the crown is much bigger then the others .

One on the left i would say is a boy and on the right is girlie! I have same problem with 2, 16 wk old silver laced wyandottes! 1 looks like a boy but is showing no manly traits?

Thats what i was thinking about my SLW? i would of thought by 16wks the one i thought was a he,would be crowing? but no!  ???  ???
we had radio 2 on this morning with Terry Wogan and there was a cockerel crowing! I stared at hubby and said "Oh my god was that a crow i just heard?" he just laughed and said it was on the radio you silly moo  :mad:but i am starting to get paranoid as the runner ducks are the only ducks that make a real racket when they want something!  as much as i love them if they dont settle down they will have to find new homes  :( as i cant risk the neighbours moaning and us losing all our girls  :(

If it is a boy you should be able to see pointy feathering around his neck by now.

Hi, You have White Sussex, not Light Sussex, but still if it is a cockerel the feathering around his neck and tail should be different to the hens.
