My cream legbar chicks are 4 1/2 wks now, so far had nothing but fresh water and chick crumbs.
Can I start to give them a little corn or other treats?
Also I always use either AVC or lifeguard, when can I introduce the chicks to this?
Or should I carry on as is for now?

Personally i would stick to giving them just crumbs as they need as much protein as they can eat. Giving them corn may fill them up and the protein levels in that are not as high. Other stuff may upset their developing tummys.

Be patient and spoil them as they get to around 16 weeks plus

Hi jo40,  I have 3 week old chicks and been giving them dried  mealworms, as well as chick crumb, and they go mad for them, and they are thriving on them.

Those dried meal worms go down a treat at any age.
