I use a pet sitting service and she is very good. Admittedly I first used her when I just had cats and kind of snuck the ducks up on her and she keeps coming back!
Be like a duck. Calm on the surface but always paddling like the dickens underneath.

We use a pet sitting service which is great.  The lady we use is lovely, she visits once a day to feed all our animals, 3 cats, 6 guinea pigs and 6 hens (not forgetting the gerbils and the gold fish).  She also collects up the post so it doesn't build up behind the door.  She charges £10 per visit and it is worth every penny because I know the house is kept an eye on as well as the pets.

We do have a auto pop hole opener which is essential unless you have someone come in twice a day.  Again it has been worth every penny.

100% recommend auto pophole thingy.  Absolutely worth every penny.  We're away shortly, and whilst I have friends and relatives organised to keep an eye (and have a break themselves in our lovely village!) without the door closer, it would be asking a lot.
