Tode, I'll transfer pee from the on-site 'pee bucket' to my watering can and apply it in a more acceptable fashion (and with more decorum).

 :D

I may do half with comfrey feed and half with widdle...

Was just gazing out of the window (the grey clouds have gone somawhere else, and the b***y sun's come out), when my mind turned to flushing
4 peepees a day makes 40 liters per day
365 days per year makes, ummm,  14600 liters per year   :(
roughly 50 million Brits (if you include Yorkshire) that makes ......  730 000 000 000 liters per year.
which makes .... 730 000 000 cubic meters/cubic yards of drinking water ... down the drain per year.  That is one big duck-pond ! ! !
Makes you think.   Well, it makes me think

I was saying this the other day, I have caught myself thinking quite a lot recently: 'what a waste of p*ss' as I watch it go down the drain hole.

I think my work colleagues would consider me a little too odd if I started stockpiling bottles of urine under my desk... I already demand all teabags, apple cores etc be handed over, to demand their number ones might see me out the door quick sharp!  :)

No need to flush if you have a pee ...

I don't like this rhyme, but it sums it up: "If it's yellow let it mellow, if it's brown flush it down"

They'd probably just assume it was bottles of booze, which in this line of work remains perfectly acceptable!

Kristen: no flushing options, the wee just goes down the hols and the 'stones' flush themselves every five minutes or so... In our house nobody bloomin' flushes, ever.  >:(

All this talk of "flushing" is making me want to go ....  But I will feel guilty if I waste it down the loo after reading all this, so will have to wait until I find a bucket

Squeamish isn't quite the right word, but I've never considered it "acceptable" to have a bucket or similar in the loo to then take out to the compost heap periodically.

However, a watering can?  that's got me thinking ... I think I can manage with that :) not likely to spill it en route either.

Is there a suitable watering can for the girls?  I assume just buying a pink one and putting it in the loo won't work? :D

Well, apparently girly pee isn't good enough anyway - something to do with all the hormones, especially if you are on the pill...

In an all-girl household I think we will stick to fertiliser! ::)
