what would your last supper be?
« on: September 07, 2009, 15:33 »
If you really had to decide on 3 courses what would your last supper be?

Mine would be;
Starter;
home made chicken liver pate with nice salald leaves dressed with a french dressing with red onion marmalade and toasted brioche

Main;
Home made chips, sausage, fried egg and baked beans with white bread and butter and a cup of tea.

Pud;
profiteroles with extra cream poured on.

Wash it all down with a bottle of fizz!
Music self played is pleasure self made
Samantha :)

Starter  seafood platter, scallops ,prawns mussel and crab

Main   Roast rack of lamb with all the trimmings.

Desert   Rhubarb crumble somewhere under the clotted cream followed by an irish coffee with more real cream.

Followed by a bit of stilton if it will fit.

homemade bread toasted spread with anchor butter and my mums home made jam followed by full roast beef dinner with all the trimmings and my other halfs home made yorkshire puddings followed by either my mums homemade rice pudding or, my homemade apple crumble

for a light mid afternoon snack would have to be my homemade coffee and walnut cake.

then, i would get totally drunk cus I don't like pain and dont want to be too upset at having eaten my last meal.

what a morbid thing to think about - going to get counselling now ! lol

Need to think about the starter and pud, but main course has to be decent sausages, grain mustard mash, proper onion gravy and peas.  Mmmmmm, heaven  :D
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

This is so hard, can I have a last week of meals?

Starter - Garlic Mushrooms/or smoked salmon Mousse/ or homemade Leek and potato soup
Main - Fish pie or scrambled egg, chips and peas or roast veg risotto
pud - Lemon meringue pie or Eton Mess or my Mum's Trifle

I feel a bit sick after that lot :wub:

Depends how quickly you're going to be shot after eating it, assuming it's very quickly and my intestines wouldn't have a chance to decide they were allergic and make me ill I would have;

Chinese, of any sort!  A chip butty!  Profiteroles!  Dutch apple pie!  Treacle tart!  French apple tart!  A kitkat!  And freshly baked still warm proper bread with a nice big dollop of best butter on it, oh what heaven!
