Gooseberry Problem
« on: April 30, 2007, 21:00 »
Hi Everyone,
I have just joined although I have been working my allotment for about 12 years, anyway I was hoping that someone out there might be able to tell me whats up with my gooseberry bushes. For the last couple of seasons I've notices the lower (older) leaves getting spots on them, turning yellow and falling. I used Dithane spray which seemed to hold it in check so a fungus problem...but which one :?:

Got me there....????

I had a bush decimated by some gooseberry sawfly caterpillars one time.  24 hours to leafless.....

Doesn't help your question... but it does bump the thread to the top again!  :tongue2:
Sally (N.Ireland) Organic as far as I know!

Plant plenty.  Celebrate success.  (Let selective memory deal with the rest.)
