They've finally realised that a cabbage hanging in the air is the same as the cabbage on the ground and are eating it.  Only took a week.  ::)

Although they can show flashes of intelligence, they like to keep it well hidden in case someone pinches their minds  ::)

Unfortunately, they do know the difference between corn and layers pellets when you throw some in to try and distract them. The heads turn, but they don't run.  :(

I hung up a Cd to stop the wild birds nicking food and i'd read that hens like to peck at them, i had to move it as they thought it was going to kill them ::)
    Its funny how they can be suspicious of things, even if you give them a different food to try they think i've laced it with arsenic :lol:
We have 17 chickens, 3 quail, 2 dogs, 3 cats and that's enough (for this week)
