laying times

i was just wondering wot times your girls lay at, my black rock cassie lays between 8.30 and 9.30, my maran began laying last saturday and shes been doing it in the day but around the garden, well she has just laid an egg at 5.30pm and in the nest box which is fantastic bless, but i would of thought the timing was late wot do you reckon.  nickyx
