SOUR PLUMS

Does anyone know why my plums are sour this year. They are fully ripe and at this time of the year they are usually so sweet.

Even the soft ones are sour!!!

Don't know but was just having a chat with someone brambling in the park about how bitter the brambles are this year. Could it be the weather?
