i think it comes down to something very simple. if you eat meat you have to accept the fact that it was once a living animal that has been slaughterd, that doesnt mean you neccesarryly have to do it yourself just understand whats envovled. The hyporcracy comes in when someone spouts a load of tosh about how its cruel to raise an animal for meat whilst eating a big mac.
