i think its a pumpkin?

while out walking my dogs yesterday,past the old pig pasture,i saw some rather wonderful orange flowers,on first sight i thought they were courgette flowers,but on closer inspection the leaves are dinner plate size very prickly and there is some fruit growing the size of golf balls at the moment.i do remember last year chucking the halloween pumpkins to the pigs,or is this just a coincidence??

If it has a toothy grin  and glowing eyes  it's a pumpkin.
