is this usual?
« on: August 15, 2009, 13:55 »
Bokky has now been broody for a day and a half! has been moved to seperate quarters and i have just got her out to do a poop etc (really wasnt happy about) but all she did was lay an egg on the ground then started making a funny noise and went back on the eggs! (without a poop) i thought broodies didnt lay whilst sitting? does this mean she isnt serious or that she just had 1 last one in her system?
any help would be kindly excepted

Debbie

As she has gone straight back onto her eggs I would say she is serious and did just have one in her system. As long as she is going back to her eggs I wouldn't worry too much Debbie  :D
Staffies are softer than you think.

Sally did this too and she was very, very serious!
Be like a duck. Calm on the surface but always paddling like the dickens underneath.
