sorry to be disgusting - but....
« on: August 14, 2009, 22:50 »
hi there!

after noticing a worm in one of my hens' poohs, i wormed all 4 of them using flubenvet over a week according to the instructions.  But i have not seen any evidence of dead worms during the treatment which surprised me as i thought there would be loads, do yoiu think thay did not get enough of the flubenvet or is ithis usual (they are in an enclosure so easy for me to inspect their poo - which have been normal)

i will give them another dose in a weeks time but wonder if it should be directly given to each hen somehow rather than in the food?
many thanks, lucylou

As long as you have given them the right dose of Flubenvet for seven days and there is no sign of any worms in their poo then it's done it's job.

The fact that you saw one means they need treating but that doesnt mean to say they all had them. You may have just done the dead in time.
a mum is for life..not just for cleaning! ;@)
