My Arran Pilots are transmuting into triffids.....
I keep expecting them to turn toward Me and shout "Feed Me Seymour"!!!!
The growth is probably normal but as it is my first time it seems phenomonol!!

Mine have been through for about 4 weeks, Duke of York redskins, never tried them before. Even the top have reddish coloured stems, I'm hoping this is normal.Nobody else on the allotments has the same ones.

y'know what's funny? I put my potatoes in the first week of April and they're all up at the same time as all you guys who went out in the cold of February to plant your's ;)
wistfully hoping to one day be mostly organic gardener in North London.

Red Duke of York is a wonderful tattie - very floury texture, loads of flavour and it even keeps well.  Deffo my choice of early.

My earlies and second earlies are through and starting to pick up pace.  Need to start thinking about knocking down earth as the weeds are showing through too.

spotted flower buds on my Arran Pilots today!  Been watering them for last 4 weeks due to lack of rain here...none really for at least 6-8 weeks!
