I'm up in Eastern Scotland and my outdoor tomatoes are all there in spirit (green spirit that is!) but they are so far from turning red, it's untrue. We are just not getting enough sun. Are these going to be a lost cause or should I just sit tight and expect September bounty?

Can't see what you can do (except wait).
Maybe putting some sort of shelter behind them, on the North side, may help, to try and squeeze the most out of what sun you have ??
