hi all,,

having harvested my onions i am looking for some to grow as such through the winter for an early harvest next year,, but i,m looking for something a little different,, anyone planning or have already planted some not so run of the mill onions??

or do you all think i would be better off waiting till next year and just plant some basic stuff for the winter?

I think Japanese ones do well over winter but i couldnt find any to buy.
