Today...

Half a carrier bag full of peas
Beetroot ready for Vals chutney recipe
Radish (hate the things, OH has grown them and is very proud)
Swede (first one for sunday din dins, yay me!)
Baby carrots (to mash with the swede)
"I think the carrot infinitely more fascinating than the geranium. The carrot has mystery. Flowers are essentially tarts. Prostitutes for the bees. There is, you'll agree, a certain je ne sais quoi oh so very special about a firm young carrot" Withnail and I

More salad spuds, beetroot, little gem, lollo rosso, blueberries, raspberries, peas ans strawberries.  2 tiny tomatoes, more courgette and a kindly neighbour gave me a kohl rabi.  May have to join the healthy eating group soon.

First marrow! 8 and 1/2 lb going to take the two of us a few meals to get through that!  There are five more on the one plant, can you make marrow curry, marrow bolognaise, marrow lasagne?

I got my first courgette today. I've never grown them before and haven't tasted them before.              Eeeeeeuck................!!!

I tried a slice of it raw and it tasted like soggy cardboard.
I'll try it fried tomorrow to see if it's any better. Well it can't be worse!
