It's a bit early for maincrop but I couldn't resist.
The cougette is getting stuffed............... :ohmy: to go with the evening meal. :lol:

Well ok this sounds daft  ::)

But I finally picked two of my first ripe tomatos today and ate them straight away..... oh WOW how yummy are they. So much nicer than shop bought and satisfaction that I did that!!  :D

I've had a busy day, 12 x two portion sized bags of runners or french beans, blanched and frozen plus three coffee jars of pickled beetroot done.  That should keep us going over the winter!

The courgette fairy struck again last night ....2 more and I already had 4 in the fridge ::)
A ridge cucumber some more tomatoes and enough runners for my tea :)

Picked a few raspberries that got as far as my mouth :D

Not too sure if this will work but this is todays harvet- am so very pleased, we've already had loads of raspberries, peas onions, garlic, radishes, lettuces etc and then all this today :) Yum! Courgette and cherry tomatoe risotto tomorrow with my salmon!

Oh the pic didnt work- so heres what we got today:

four massive handfuls green beans
5 desiree potatoes
handful runner beans
punnet of cherry toms (gardeners delight)
8 courgettes
1 marrow
2 beetroot
Patty Pan squash
Massive pumpkin

Another marrow, 2 courgettes, 15 carrots, small bag green beans, yellow scallop squash, 2 runner beans.
Also dug up one of each main crop spud, chose those with the most dead foliage.
Maris Piper - 10 medium spuds -scab and lots of eelworm holes
Picasso - 11 mostly smallspuds - terrible scab only one eelworm hole
Pink fir apple- 17 very small spuds - some scab and a few eelworm holes.

half a dozen carrots and another couple of beetroot some good size radish and a selection of onions, then i decided to have a firtle and managed to pick out a enought orla potatoes for a meal
when im with my 9yr old she's the sensible one
