Another "Is this blight?" question!
« on: August 06, 2009, 11:44 »
I've just been and looked at my Tom plants and discovered one of them with very brown, dead looking leaves, brown stems and the fruit is turning brown.

Is this Blight?
Should i remove the plant straight away or try spraying it?
Is it worth keeping the others in or is it going to be a lost cause?

I'm just trying to upload a photo if i can get it off my flashy new phone  which is cleverer than I am!

Thanks,
Mark.

It sounds like blight I'm afraid. Mine are just beginning to go as well, even though I sprayed them last week. it's probably a lost cause. If there are any tomatoes which aren't brown you may be able to ripen them indoors.
