Cabbage/cauli spot the difference

How can you tell the difference when the plants are young before the curd arrives?

Cabbage leaves are much rounder, cauliflower leaves are more pointy - well they are on the varieties I grow anyway.

Hi Shaun. I wondered if you might come in.
Yes sly fox, it was the seedlings you gave me that you didn't know were cabbages or caulis or some of each.
They were so much better than ours that we planted them out soon, and now need to know before deciding to plant our cabbages or caulis .... restricted for space you see :roll:
Think from what has been said that they are cabbages ... Dont know how to post photos but will send you a photo by private Email if that is OK
