Chilli's and Peppers - Sun or Heat?
« on: August 03, 2009, 17:24 »
Hi,

I have just moved my chilli plants and peppers into the plastic greenhouse (one of those cheap green things)

As you all know we are not getting any sun this year, so my logic is the green house will provide warmth.

Do chilli's and peppers thrive on heat or do they need summer sun to ripen?  Will it be too hot in the green house?

Cheers

The warmer the better - although like everything else major shocks or large variations wont do that plants any good at all. An even constant temperature is better than 40degrees during the day and 10 at night.
