Anyway, The suns out, so all will take off brilliantly now!

Yaaaayyy!  I hope the tomatoes will turn red as well, we've only had four so far  :D
I haven't had anything from outside yet :( - But growth is vigorous, with plenty of fruit. I am however, keeping one eye out for the dreaded 'B' word.

Thank you for the advice re tomrite.   :) My outdoor toms have been being fed at the same time as the toms.  Will swap to something more general as my Marketmores are setting fruit but taking forever to swell.  (They were set back by sunscorch when they first went out and then the wind.  Poor things have struggled :()

I was given a little cucumber plant and wasn't even sure whether I should be planting it outside....... but then again, I don't have a greenhouse to put it in!

So stuck it next to the courgettes in a fairly sheltered corner spot.  Not very big yet, but has lots of flowers and some tiny weeny little cucs appearing  :)

Thanks for the tips re Tomrite and comfrey tea! So far haven't been feeding it at all - poor thing! And seems to be getting swamped by the courgies, but maybe their leaves are providing some shelter?!  Here's hoping....
"Perhaps we could just dig up that bit of lawn......and plant more veg?"
