can anyone give me any tips on growing button mushrooms ive tried but failed.

I tried a couple of year ago and failed so threw the lot into compost bin. Low and behold a few weeks later there they were  :lol:
You have not lost the battle unless you quit :)

If you buy some bagged spent mushroom compost from your local mushroom farm and leave it for a while you can get a good amount of mushrooms before using the compost on the plot. :)
I prefer the black flat tops with the flavour. :D
