Garlic slug repellent as per Gardeners World

I have made up a batch of the slug repellent as mentioned on GW for hostas.

Do you think it will be ok to put on my peas/beans as they seem to be getting attacked?

I think people on this forum have been using this method for ages (probably where GW got th idea ;-) ). Have a search around you may find the answer - though I see no reason not to try it....
