My last week has been filled with constructed a new compost bin, layering compost on the veg garden and conserving for winter.
The temp this morning was only 4*c and we can feel winter in the air.
I have managed to salvage some plum tomato plants that survived the storm we had and I have put them in the small greenhouse I have. the broad beans are well up and new leeks are ready to be trans-planted.
The parsnips we are digging , the buttercup pumpkin and the spuds make all the hard work worth while.
Where I have pulled the Cherry Tomatos from the garden the seeds are coming away like weeds. But they will not survive the winter.
