Are chicks supposed to eat chick crumbs only or are they allowed to try different stuff? Fed the other two chickens scraps off the kids plate at tea time and felt really guilty as mommy Emma was asking me for some also but I knew the babes would have a try so didnt give in to her demands.

I would have thought they would be ok as like all animals they learn from watching and following the example of their mum.
