tomato leaves
« on: July 16, 2009, 19:45 »
Hi all , I have noticed lately that there are leaves growing at the end of one or two of the trusses. Will it do any harm if I break off the leaves. Is there any reason for this to happen. Many thanks.

It`s perfectly normal, leave them alone, they`ll be fine.

Some varieties will send a new shoot out from the end of the truss, these will ned to be removed.

I always take mine off,i have found in the past that the fruit on the normal truss stays small if you allow further flowers to develope.Just my opinion.
