Hi, i am really new at all this chicken stuff and would like to go  on a training day, i live in somerset does anyone kow of any courses in somerset/ dorset.

If you go on the omlett site they list courses all over the country. They are ideal for complete beginners, they don't try to pressurize you into buying an eglu and you will be with other complete novices as well  :D

Agree.  I went on one, and am much more confident now.

Content and cost vary depending on the what's on offer by the individual host.

Ours cost £13 each, we had a great time, got fed, and were given a fresh egg each to take home, plus a lovely little hand knitted egg cosy, one per booking!  And as with Joyful, no hardsell whatsoever.

Highly recommended. :lol:

chickens being taught to heel and sit and stand and ....

or turkeys doing agility courses ...
