Something eating the runner bean flowers????
« on: July 12, 2009, 08:58 »
My mom has some runners in pots on her patio. Something has been taking the flowers clean off.  My first thought was snails but there isn't any sign of damage per se, the flowers have a little green stem then there is nothing, a clean break........any ideas????

Probably just dropping off as the bean has not "set". It's a pollination issue & often happens with the first flowers.

Try a very fine spray with water.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?
