Pumpkin Advice Needed Please

Growing 1 pumpkin plant and already it has 11 small pumpkins on the size of golf balls.

Im not after particulary large ones so should i cut this down to about 6?

Also if i want to get rid of some do i cut just below the fruit or the whole branch its on?

And whats size does everybody think is the best size to harvest for eaters?

I'd let them settle a bit first, as sometimes they drop a few off anyway! And you can usually tell when they're ripe as they change colour....what sort are you growing?

Just ignore Auntie on this 1 occasion , roasted pumpkin is lovely and so is spiced pumpkin soup
