rough/ pimply mangetout

Hi - couldn't find any previous thread like this! Our mangetout are cropping well but in the past few days many of the pods feel rough or pimply - little raised areas on them. Still taste fine, but any ideas what it is? Even small young pods are affected, though not all of them.
