This is the view from my site:

The photo doesn't really do it justice, it's much better in the flesh!

That's gorgeous Sal. I might spend too much time looking at that if I had such a view, I'd get less done then.  So hooray for my terrible view. ;)

My plot is over looking the cemetery... :(

My plot is the first one next to a cemetry as well, the first grave behind the trees is about 10m from my munty runner bean frame. I sometimes wonder if being that close feeds my soil or is that 2 far?
I'm very important. I have many leather-bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany.

cemeteries and lotties appear to be regular neighbours, mine is also, sorry could not get photo from Dartmouth, but i was on vacance so could not get in. Great snap from North Wales though, not sure it would suit a Southern softie like me. Brrrrrr!

Hi Humanrotovator

You've got a great view there! Reminds me of the time ages ago when I visited Findhorn after hearing about their amazing produce despite the arid windswept soil and proximity to the sea. Thinking about it I have decided that both close-up and distant views in/from a plot can be equally appealing and arresting, so have included a 'micro' and a 'macro' view from my side here.

Cheers.

Do you find being close to the sea helps keep frost away HR?
Duriancake your crops look really healthy :)

This is my veg garden this morning.  Some of my Highlands are grazing in the field behind the fence

and Ninian and Morag enjoying a lettuce that had bolted

I have a view of York Race Course and Terry's Chocolate Factory  8) - will upload a photograph shortly - it really is very pleasant.
Now then, I am a very pleasant lad from York.  I have a decent half plot on Holgate allotments.
