Having made rhubarb and orange jam?? and Rhubarb chutney I decided to have a go at JAM :ohmy

So the weekend we took the kids to the local Fruit farm and went strawberry picking 8)....I know not the cheepest but it's what we did as kids and I wanted to show the kids you don't have to wash everything

So we came back with strawberrys, raspberrys and blackcurrants!!
I decided to make strawberry jam.  How much fun!!!!!  I loved the whole experience, and we had so much jam on toast before it had  time to set properly,  because we couldn't wait  ::).
After that I decided to have a go at making bread all by myself no breadmaker!!!  Ohhh now that is fun....got a bit sticky and gooey with the dough but the bread was fantastic!!!  (Mary came in and explained where flour comes from and then showed ME how to kneed the bread!!!   HOw old is she??  4 and she was right.....  So while i'm cooking why not make a boiled cake. One for now one to freeze.  I've put some photies on as there are never photies on here :tongue2:

Look what I made!!!
