Cuc or gherkin?
« on: July 05, 2009, 20:15 »
Hi everyone,

I planted my cucumbers (telegraph improved) in the greenhouse a month ago. They are now over 6 foot tall with hell of a lot of male flowers on and quite a few small cucumbers coming behind the female ones.

However, these plants look exactly the same as my gherkins outdoors. Did i mix them up or do telegraph improved have a number of cucumbers coming at the same time (about 10 per plant atm).

Any help would be appreciated

Steve

Most cucumbers have several show at the same time.

A gherkin is only a cucumber after all, until it's pickled!
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?
