Soft Shelled eggs....edible?

One of the girls has had problems laying soft shelled eggs but they're improving. She laid one today which although it's soft is actually in tact...is it edible? Could I just crack it open and scramble it alongside the other eggs??? 

I tend to give the soft shelled eggs to the cats as a treat - I'm not going to waste proper eggs on them

I do. Duff duck only lays them so if intact they definately get eaten. Eat them quick as they dehydrate quickly and go wrinkly!
