No rainwater for blueberries

I have run out of rainwater, is there anything I can do to make tap water more palatable?

I've heard of people putting a teabag in a watering can and letting it stand overnight.  Can't confirm that it works, though, as I haven't got blueberries (yet!).

There is nothing you can easily do to remove the lime from London water.  In an emergency you could water your plants with de-ionised water sold in garages or hardware stores for topping up batteries or using in steam irons.  A longer term solution if you have a lot of lime sensitive plants might be to install your own de-ioniser.

You could also try watering with Sequestrine, which does not remove the lime but compensates for it.

Not sure if that is 100% true.  I think that some natural acids might precipiate it out - but don't know which ones.  If you had lots of pine needles that might solve the problem (I don't  have though).

Chicken Poo is acidic, I just dump loads of that on mine.

Mine isnt doing too well at the moment, but, it is in a bad spot and is losing to hedge type thing I need to roundup.
We use chemicals in this garden, just as god intended

I  add some vinigar to tap water if I have to use it to water bleuberrys.

I use about 50/75ml added to a large watering can and leave it to stand abit before useing.

Also you can get special ericasious fertiliser to help with the Iron uptake problem.
