Oh there is loads you can make with it.... Try grating up the flesh and using in breads and cakes or in fritters. I even have a biscuit(cookie) recipe or brownies even. Chopped up flesh into soups or stews too. You can do a google search for the recipes or pm me and I can share some I have gathered. I was lucky this week and found two that I hadn't seen also in the garden.

We love Courgettes and keep 8 bushes just for 2 of us... even thn we often wissh we had more!

Mountainvicar - what!!!!  8 plant's for 2 people. Each to their own, and we each plant what we want to, but 8 for 2, the mind boggles.

Do you pick them very small, or particularly like the flowers?

I've got 4 for 2 - two yellow ones and two green ones - (up from 1 for 2 last year), and I intend giving a lot away.

this is what we had for tea last night, curried mince with overgrown courgette, baked in the oven, it was delish

we have 8 plants too! eat them every day, yum yum!! And marrows are great chopped and blended and used as thickener for stews.

2 all green bush, which is what I grew last year and am now also trying:

2 Parador

I imagine I'll be giving a fair few away, but will also be trying some of the recipes mentioned on this thread and elsewhere.  I made a lovely coleslaw last year using grated courgette instead of cabbage, definitely doing that again this year, although i'm still a couple of days from picking my first ones.

I have 8 plants 2 but i am not keen on them 

I planted 8 in peat pots on window cill and they all germinated, transplanted them into buckets (morrisons  ) and a grow bag. Thinking some may die off in the poly tunnel but no, it is like a jungle in their now

oh definataly...8 for 2 of us... I planted out 10 but sluge got two of them while I was on holiday.

I pick them when they are 8" long... we espeashaly love them chargrilled, with a blue chese sorse, as fritters or is a sweek corget sponge...

(P.S. I should add we are vegitairiens so we eat lots of veg by defult any way!)

P.P.S. And come september we make loads of soup to for the winter
