Melon in Pots?

They'll grow in pots, but in the largest you can supply, at least bucket sized. You'll need to water it regularly and feed often as it will quickly deplete whatever is in the bucket/pot. And limit how many melons per plant so you get decent sized ones that will ripen in your growing season. And they must have good drainage.

Mine has looked a little sad but I fed it tomato feed and it's picked up! Think I need to get a bigger pot...or a grow bag!? would that be a bit better??

I have grown them for many years using 11" / 10L pots, and fed on Tomato fertilizer.

I'm growing them in the greenhouse border for the first time this year.
