I just wondered if anyone has a cockerel, and their neighbour also has one, how do they get on?

Last week one of my boys started crowing (he is 9 weeks old).  Actually once he starts he never shuts up  ::)  But he does sound awfully cute (well, i think so, not too sure about the neighbours lol)  Anyway, if Tach' crows the cock next door usually answers and if next door starts, Tach' answers.  Once they get going they can go on for a good 15-20 mins.

Luckily I live in a farming community (and next doos roo actually belongs to a farmer) and many of the villagers keep hens, so I don't think the noise will be a problem, but I'm still wary, obviously (I'm a foreign stranger... I only moved into the village a year ago  ).

Has anyone else had this experience?

BTW, next doors roo starts crowing at dawn, which is 4:45am  At least Tach doesn't usually start until I let him out at 7am lol
