One of the baby bantams is half the size of the other 4 (who are growing up so very quickly), All it seems to want to do is snuggle up to mum but she keeps ignoring it and is more interested in its siblings, (infact it's not much bigger than the almost 2 week old maran chicks. It has no feathers on it's neck and has been like that from birth but shows no ill effects from that - no bleeding, no lice or mites on it etc. I have fed it a couple of meal worms today but apart from that it doesn't seem interested in anything and has been like this for a couple of days. I am making it some sugar water (just waiting for it to cool) and will try and get it interested in that. I really would prefer not to keep it seperate from its brothers and sisters as it may struggle being reintroduced. Any ideas anyone? Or am I fighting a losing battle and would be better doing the deed?
